Interested in learning more or getting involved with Rat City Roller Derby?

As a member of our fan club, a volunteer at one of our bouts, or a sponsor of the league, there are a number of ways you can join our community without putting on protective gear and skates!

Medics

We host scrimmages and bouts regularly and are required to have a medic on site on the track for emergencies. There are many different certifications that meet our medic requirements, including physical therapist, an RN, a medic, etc…or even having first aid/cpr certification.

If interested, please contact our volunteer staffing coordinator at [email protected] for medic opportunities.

Skating & Non-Skating Officials

There is an amazing group of people who show up for many of the leagues to facilitate roller derby. Potential Fresh Meat is a local learn to skate, recreational league that also trains interested parties in officiating on or off skates.

If you are an experienced skating or non-skating official who would like to get involved with Rat City, you can email [email protected].

Producing a Rat City Roller Derby event is no walk in the park. There is A LOT of behind-the-scenes work that goes into it. That’s why we are so appreciative of the time and services Rat City Roller Derby volunteers put into our organization — we could not kick ass like we do without the dedication of our volunteers!

Please contact our volunteer staffing coordinator at [email protected] to be contacted for future volunteer opportunities.
