Danger over TRs 112-104, DLF takes third

In a night of roller derby of Championship proportions, all four Rat City teams gave their loyal fans a bout (or rather, two!) to remember!

Grave Danger won their second RCRG title with a thrilling 112-104 win over the Throttle Rockets. It was the night of the vets for MVPs– with a combined 13 seasons skating for Rat City, Katarina Whip and Valtron 3000 were named MVPs for their teams.

The grudge match was a thriller as well and the Derby Liberation Front scored their first win, 121-111 in two years over the Sockit Wenches. DLF built up a big lead early on, and despite a very strong push in the second half, it was too much for the Wenches.

It’s the end of our home team season, and the last bout at the Key Arena in 2011, but our travel teams are just ramping up, so plan your trip to Portland to cheer on the Rat City All-Stars at the WFTDA Western Playoffs, September 23-25 and check this site for more news and updates!
