We did it again, 5,703 fans packed into KeyArena on April 10th to set another record attendance for modern day roller derby. If all our season ticket holders were there, as many as 5,900 fans were in the stands. Grave Danger secured their place in the championships with a win over Derby Liberation Front (179-58). In a nail biter second bout, the Sockit Wenches defeated the Throttle Rockets by one point in the final jam (125-124), leaving both teams 1-1 for the season. The May 1st bout will determine which of the two teams will compete in the championship bout, as Throttle Rockets take on Grave Danger and Sockit Wenches bout Derby Liberation Front.
