All-Stars place 5th in WFTDA Western Regionals

Although the Rat City All-Stars are not advancing to Nationals this year, the team flew back from Sacramento with three wins from over the weekend, 5th place in the most competitive region in the WFTDA, and set several WFTDA records. We couldn’t be more proud!

In their first game of the tournament on Friday, Rat City’s All-Stars lost to Rose City’s Wheels of Justice (104-121), eliminating them from the semifinals and losing their chance at Nationals. On Saturday, the Rat City All-Stars easily defeated tournament hosts Sacred City (367-32) in a record breaking bout. Rat City jammer Primp Daddy set a WFTDA record for most points scored per jam, 39 points (that’s 8 scoring passes through the pack). The All-Stars also set the WFTDA tournament record for most points scored and largest margin of victory. Later that same day, the All-Stars also beat Tucson (141-72). On Sunday in the bout for 5th place in the region, the All-Stars beat the Denver Roller Dolls Mile High Club (136-127).
