2011 Season Opener – Bouting it Out for Charity

The Rat City Rollergirls have BIG HEARTS and will prove it by giving BIG HITS when they compete in their first home bout of the 2011 season on Saturday, January 15th at the KeyArena.

Each home team will play for a charity near and dear to their hearts. The Sockit Wenches play for Queer Youth Space, Grave Danger plays for Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center, Throttle Rockets play for Young Survival Coalition and Derby Liberation Front plays for 826 Seattle.

Teams will compete in short, 30-minute tournament style bouts. The Sockit Wenches will take on Derby Liberation Front, while Grave Danger battles the Throttle Rockets. Winners will advance to play for the biggest check to be donated to their charity at the end of the night!

Never fear, all charities go home with checks from the Rat City Rollergirls and you can help too! Donation jars will be stationed at each charity information table and the team merchandising booths throughout KeyArena. So you can show off your big heart too!

With stakes this high, you can’t afford to miss the 2011 RCRG Season Charity Opener!
