Favorite Position: When I skated on the team I loved to jam, but now I love to Coach. I love to “blow my whistle.”
Likes: Hard hits, hard workers, winners. It’s all about how you win, not if. I really like to see my girls get something out of the hard work they put in. I like going fast and kicking ass!
(oh, and I really love cupcakes!)
Dislikes: Whiners, drama queens, people that don’t work hard but expect everything, disrespect, I dislike injury – it keeps us from playing when we really want to.
But seriously. I dislike YOU!
Injuries: Season 1: I dislocated my right knee, after months of rehab, I came back to finish out the season. I also got a concussion that Season. yay.
Season 2: Whew! Another concussion…also did some pretty hefty damage on my right shoulder. Rotator cuff garbage.
Season 3: The big one…July 28th, 2007…
BROKEN BACK
~yes, my back! 5 breaks in my L1-L4 transverse processors…and a pars fracture in my lower back…rehabbed and back on skates in march of 2008 :)
Season 4: Skated a few games and rejoined the All-Star team to compete in Nationals where I seperated my right shoulder.
~That’s it, I swear.
Season 5: Coaching=no injury. A well deserved break from the beatings!!

Bio: Drew was born in a Florida psychiatric prison where her mother was committed. Shortly after Drew came into the world, her mother was discharged — the doctors said she was changed because “the evil in her, it seemed, had left her body.”
Growing up, Drew was ruthlessly teased and tormented because of her braces and glasses. The only thing that kept her safe and slightly sane were her favorite skates that had once belonged to her bizarre mother. Her mother was always urging her to stand up to the bullies instead of skating away, saying things like “you are strong Drew, they can’t keep you down!”. Drew’s mother was always giving her so much encouragement.
One dreary school night, Drew was diligently working on her jet black ’57 Chevy as she did on many cold dark evenings. This car was her most beloved possession, as she had an unusual, haunting bond with it. While the full moon shined brightly, the most terrible bullies in school crept up and torched the garage with Drew inside. The fire was a strange and wicked sight, and the kids’ laughter quickly changed to shock, as they watched ghostly figures arise from the flames. Inside, Drew lay dead…7 pints of blood lost and burned to a crisp on the garage floor. Miraculously a strange red oil from the ghostly car slithered over to where Drew’s dead body lay. It entered through the crown of her head, turning her hair bright red as she absorbed the red oil into her being. She then arose, full of strength, life and fearlessness!
Drew knew it was time to leave her home and travel to a place where she could be among other furious females. She quickly packed her things and drove her Chevy up to the great Northwest. She heard about a group of girls that called themselves the Sockit Wenches, who shared similar desires and the same love for hot cars. Through Drew Blood’s ventures whether it be playing with the Wenches, or coaching them, she will always remember her past but never fear the future…she often hears the echo of her mother’s voice in her head, now saying something slightly different than before … “you got knocked down and you got back up, stronger than before, you did it Drew, you did it.”
