#5 Xena

Derby History: I’m relatively new to Derby.  Saw my first Seattle derby game at Key arena last year in Sept 2013 (I think Rat City All Stars were playing Gotham NYC).  Thought it looked fun and so decided to try out for the Rat City Rollergirls Rat Lab.  I was successful and then two months later was drafted to the Throttle Rockets in Dec 2013.  Since then, I’ve been working hard to not only learn how to skate (I’ve probably fallen 10x that of the average), but also learn all the rules, signals and various game strategies (still a lot more to learn there!).
